Some businesses use this type of spyware for advertising purposes. They can track your web browsing history and know what sites you are surfing and what type of products you are searching for.
A Trojan is a program that is disguised as a valid program or application that generally installs a back door to your computer allowing a hacker to enter at a later time. These are just a few of the many reasons to protect your computer with security programs. Without them, you and your personal information is at risk for theft, ruining what you have worked so hard to obtain.
