Is my Personal Computer Dying?
Many people are faced with a computer that is lagging and not running as well as it did that first day you brought it home and jumped on the Internet in seconds. This is because our computers are always under constant attack and there are many people in the digital world that get a kick out of disrupting the way things work. Unfortunately, this is something that can affect your PC if you are unaware of what is happening to it.
Have you ever got onto your computer and you all of a sudden have a different home page when accessing the Internet? This happens because there is something that is corrupting the way your computer attempts to log on to the Internet. It means that somewhere along the way you downloaded something that is trying to change the way your computer speaks to the Internet through your ISP modem. The reasons for this are many and the most common reason is to spy on your computer activity by embedding files in your system known as spyware. If you are unfamiliar with spyware than type that word into your favorite search engine and get yourself educated on what this is doing to your computer.
Registry errors are also an indication that your computer has been under attack by malicious files and more times than not these files are attached to larger files which you downloaded at some point. Many small corruptive files will leach onto these large downloadable files and wreak havoc inside your registry and most of the time these errors can’t be fixed without the help of a computer professional.
If you are just trying to open a media player of any kind and it does not seem to want to open than you know there is something disrupting the performance of your computer. You can decipher if your ISP is causing the issue or is it your system because if you are just trying to access an installed program such as Word or a media player that has nothing to do with your Internet service provider. This means that your system is corrupted in some way and needs to be taken care of before it become obsolete.
